Orders, Shipping and Returns
Orders usually take one day to process, but may take up to three, from the time we receive your order until it is packed and ready to ship. Shipping time is an additional timeframe that follows and applies only to time in transit. We will always do our best to process your order quickly and correctly.
Your receipt of an electronic order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept, decline or limit your order for any reason, whether or not your credit card has been authorized. If your credit card has been charged and your order is cancelled you will receive a prompt refund credit to your account.
Once you have placed an order, your credit card will be authorized immediately. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. Orders DO NOT ship the same day (see Shipping). Your credit card will not be charged until your order has shipped.
The cost of shipping may be calculated based upon weight or size. Our shipping calculator in the shopping cart may be used to estimate charges before your order is placed. We ship on business days Monday through Saturday from Delaware. Please submit separate orders when shipping to different destinations.
The email that confirms shipping of your order will also contain a tracking number if applicable. You can track those orders from:
Kitschy Stitch uses USPS and UPS and ships from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971. If shipping to a PO Box, you must use USPS. You may choose UPS Ground (1 to 5 days), UPS 2nd Day Air, or USPS Priority (1 to 3 days). UPS provides a delivery time map for ground shipments from 19971 at http://www.ups.com/maps?loc=en_US&WT.svl=SubNav.
If you need us to ship elsewhere, call our shop to make arrangements.
To the extent that you purchase any Goods directly from us, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, YOU MAY RETURN THE ITEM WITHIN 30 CALENDAR DAYS OF DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER. Order cancellations can only be requested prior to shipment.
Please note, THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY:
> The reason for the return must be stated.
> Purchased products must be in its original packaging and in a new, unused original condition.
> Needles, hooks, books, magazines, and patterns are not returnable.
> Shipping Fees are non-refundable unless the return of an item was caused by an error on our part.
RETURNS MAY BE MADE ONLY THROUGH OUR RETURN PROCEDURE BY FILLING OUT AN RMA FORM IN THE MY ACCOUNT SECTION.
Kitschy Stitch retains the right to decline any attempted returns that do not comply with this return policy. Product(s) accepted for return after 30 days may be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Return Procedure: request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) in the MY ACCOUNT section next to each order item that you want to return. The RMA form contains the return address and instructions on how to return purchased Goods. Processing may take one to three business days Monday through Friday.
If your purchase arrives in a damaged condition, or is simply incorrect, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible (firstname.lastname@example.org). Do not attempt to use the Goods! We will send you a replacement and instructions regarding the return of the concerned product. Purchases must be returned to us within 30 days. If the damage was caused by a shipping courier, we will schedule a damage pick up by the courier. When a replacement is requested to be shipped prior to the return of original merchandise, we must temporarily authorize your credit card until the original merchandise is returned.
After we accept your return, you will be issued a refund to the same Credit Card you originally used to place the order. The refund amount will be the original purchase price minus shipping charges. We will sent you an email confirming receipt of the return and your credit.
